big step

my cold wasn't the only thing i discussed with the doctor today. there comes a point when one must make a choice to continue with the status quo, something that you're used to but don't like, yet can't seem to change by yourself, or try something-anything- to fix it.

i probably shouldn't have waited a year to get up the nerve to deal with it in this way, but hey... maybe it's pride, fear, i don't know. having this conversation with doc a year ago would have made more sense, when i was more obviously tossed between simultaneous waves of circumstantial frustration and hormones and tides of joy. but it was much easier now than it would have been a year ago.

pray for me... it was a big step, a necessary one.

good for you --I have had to do that 2 other times in my life and it helped tremendously--I don'[t know why we are so afraid to talk to docs about things other than medical but they really are a help at times to put things in a proper perspective!!
