well, for the past few weeks, 75% of the time i comment on a site with word verification, including my own, blogger makes me retry. it's really annoying. so, today i made this blog private, in hopes that unnwanted weirdos will stay away, and took the word verification option off my comments. i might go ahead and make baby bear's private, too. we'll see.
i've noticed that my comments usually stick on blogs that don't require the word verification, so we'll see if this makes it any easier for you guys to comment on mine.
baby bear's nap is over, time to get off the computer and be mommy.

I've never had any trouble with mine. In fact other than family I don't think any one else has commented on mine. You do what you feel you need to though with security - it's a personal thing.
nah, i don't mind links. by makiing it private, i just meant it won't show up on my profile or in a blogger search, supposedly. i still want my friends and family to read and comment. :-)
i'm not surse if the word verification issues i've had have been just in the "new blogger" sites or all of them... i'll have to pay closer attention. overall, i like the new blogger's editing setup better than the old. and by getting rid of my word verification, hopefully people won't have issues posting comments like they were...

i went into the settings for comments.. .there was an option to choose whether you want your blog to be searchable in blogger or not. if you don't, it won't show up in your profile, either.
i've been getting more spammy e-mails, so i thought people might be phishing around blogger.
