Pray...

I spoke to my dear friend WBT tonight. Her father is the one with cancer, and this weekend "has not been one she woud like to remember." His physical strength is decreasing, he stays in bed, eats little, and is icreasingly irritable.

Her brother, his wife, and their 2 1/2 year old son are home from halfway across the country, staying at her apartment. They go to the parents' house during the day. Anyone who has lost a loved one to a terminal illness, who has witnessed the progression of a body shutting down and the flood of feelings and fears that comes with it, can relate.

Pray for them to find comfort in each other's company, and for glimpses that remind them of who their Dad is. Not the disease that has overtaken.
