have i mentioned that i hate insomnia?

been up since 3:30 a.m. that's 2:30 for those of you in the Eastern time zone.

at least i didn't wake baby bear when i knocked over the fan in the hallway on the way to the bathroom.

pray for holly, one of my WAH buddies. she's delivering her littlest man today (via c-section).

mary, my neighbor, was induced to deliver her little man yesterday. he should be here by now, i hope... she's had a tough pregnancy between being like farmwife in stature (tiny)and adjusting to carrying the extra weight, the usual symptoms (usual for those of us who don't describe the physical symptoms of pregnancy as "blissful") and i believe gestational diabetes. pray for mama, baby and daddy as the adventures in parenthood begin! pray for spike the black cat to adjust well to his new sibling, too. he is very used to being an only child.

while you're at it, pray for steph, who is scheduled to deliver baby girl #3 via c-section on cinco de mayo! she's already measuring at 44 weeks, so to say she's uncomfortable is probably an uderstatement.

for those of you who have to be up this early... i'm sorry. i think i'll see if my body will go to sleep for the hour before baby bear wakes up. (she smells grandma's coffee and gets an olfactory caffeine rush bright and early. argh.)
