Pray for Chatterbox's Dad, Mr. A.... (warning, not a pretty mental picture)

He's having 20 inches removed from his intestines today. Anyway, it sounds like an extreme case of diverticulitis... he has lots of polyps in his intestines/colon, and many became infected, causing bleeding when he thought he needed to use the bathroom. He's in his mid-late 50's, I think. I've known his daughter since high school, and his son-in-law since college.
